Municipal Email Service

The MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE is only for La Rinconada citizens.
Each citizen will have access TO ONLY ONE email address.
In the ID selection, you cannot use words or expressions that are offensive, abusive, or coincide with brands or famous people that are not authorised.
The legal access restrictions are laid down in the Platform Terms of Use fully specified below.

1. REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

These requirements regulate the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE, which La Rinconada Town Hall makes available free of charge to the citizens of La Rinconada.

By completing and submitting the registration form, citizens are granted user status for the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE, enabling access with their registered passwords. Furthermore, this action signifies the user's acceptance of the Legal Notice and Privacy Policies of the www.larinconada.es website, along with the Terms of Use for the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE. The User must, therefore, carefully read the Website's Legal Notice and these Terms of Use each time they intend to utilise them.

To use the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE on the www.larinconada.es Website, it's essential for Users to be registered residents of La Rinconada municipality, have an account on this platform, and have been provided access passwords as per the Terms of Use.

Children under 18 must always seek and obtain permission from their parents, guardians, or legal representatives before accessing the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE. Children without authorization are forbidden from accessing and utilising the platform. La Rinconada Town Hall reminds adult users who are responsible for children under 18 that it is their sole responsibility to assess which services and/or content are unsuitable for the latter's age. La Rinconada Town Hall informs platform users that information programmes are in place to filter and block access to specific content and services. This enables parents, for example, to decide the web content and services their children access, thus preventing them from reaching any deemed unsuitable.

2. ACCESS PASSWORDS

2.1. Passwords Assignment/Registration

Submitting the Registration Form requires the User's choice and completion of an ID (referred to as the "Username") and a User password (referred to as the "Password"). These credentials cannot contain words or expressions that are offensive, abusive, or coincide with brands, trade names, establishment signs, company names, advertising expressions, names, or pseudonyms of public figures or celebrities without proper authorization. In essence, they must comply with legal and moral standards and commonly accepted good practices. Upon entering the chosen Username and Password, the assignment process occurs automatically for the User, unless identical Usernames and Passwords have been previously selected by other users.

2.2. Use and Self-Custody

The User commits to using their Username and Password carefully and refraining from sharing them with third parties. The User bears full responsibility for any activities conducted on the Platform using their Username and Password. Therefore, the User is required to (i) ensure they have logged out of the Platform each time they end a session and (ii) promptly inform La Rinconada Town Hall of any loss, theft, or unauthorised use of the Username or Password by a third party.

2.3. Suspension

La Rinconada Town Hall reserves the right to revoke access to the Platform and deactivate passwords for Users who fail to utilise the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE for three (3) consecutive months. In this scenario, "non-use of the service" refers to the user's failure to access the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE, using their validated ID and password for a consecutive period of three (3) months.

3. PERSONAL DATA

To register as a User of the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE, Users must first provide specific personal data—first name and last name, their full name, ID card, complete address, and date of birth—via the Registration Form.

By completing and submitting the Registration Form, the User agrees to and authorises the processing of their Personal Data by La Rinconada Town Hall. This processing is carried out to verify that the User fulfils the necessary requirements to access the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE.

In all instances, Users ensure and bear responsibility for the truthfulness, accuracy, currency, and authenticity of the Personal Data they provide, committing to keeping this information accurately updated.

4. SERVICE FEATURES

4.1. Modification and Termination

La Rinconada Town Hall reserves the right to modify, at any time and without prior notice, the display and configuration of the www.larinconada.es website, as well as the contents and services provided therein, including the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE. The user acknowledges and agrees that La Rinconada Town Hall reserves the right to interrupt, deactivate, and/or cancel any of the contents or services integrated into the Platform at any time.

4.2. Capacity and Dimensioning

The user acknowledges and agrees that the La Rinconada Town Hall reserves the right to expand, limit, or restrict the capacity, availability, and operation of the content and/or services provided on the Platform. This authority encompasses various aspects, such as the ability to extend or restrict the duration and storage capacity, the maximum number of emails sent or received through an account within the service, the server memory allocation per user account, and the frequency and duration of accessing content and/or services within a specified timeframe.

4.3. Availability

La Rinconada Town Hall will endeavour to ensure the availability and accessibility of the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE 24 hours a day, every day of the year. However, the provision of new connections, addressing changes, and updating necessary maintenance operations, which typically involve suspending access to or use of the Platform, may result in interruptions for the duration required to carry out these tasks.

4.5. Technical Access Requirements

To access the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE, the user needs to: have access to the network, either directly or indirectly via access devices; pay the relevant access and connection fees; and possess the necessary equipment and computer systems to connect to the network. This includes a suitable terminal (such as a computer or telephone) and a modem or similar access device. For proper access, viewing, and utilisation of specific Platform contents and services, users may be required to download certain computer programmes or other software components onto their computer devices. The user will be responsible for carrying out this installation, and La Rinconada Town Hall disclaims any liability that may arise from it.

5. PLATFORM ACCESS AND USE

5.1. Usage Rules

The user agrees to use the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE diligently and appropriately.

The user acknowledges and agrees that the use of the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE will be conducted for personal, private, or corporate purposes. Users are explicitly prohibited from authorising third parties to utilise, either wholly or partially, the Service, or to integrate the services and products of the www.larinconada.es website into their own business activities.

The user agrees not to access the contents and/or services of the Platform through any means other than the interface provided by La Rinconada Town Hall for user access.

The use or application of any technical, logical, or technological means by which users may directly or indirectly derive benefits, with or without financial gain, from the unauthorised exploitation of the Content and/or Services or the Website is strictly prohibited.

The user undertakes not to utilise the MUNICIPAL EMAIL SERVICE for activities that contravene the law, morality, accepted norms, or established public order. Moreover, the service must not be employed for purposes or actions that are unlawful, prohibited, or detrimental to the rights and interests of third parties. La Rinconada Town Hall disclaims any liability arising from such actions.

The user agrees not to use the contents and/or services in any manner that could harm, disable, overload, or degrade the portal, or hinder the normal use or enjoyment of the Platform and/or services by other users.

The user is required to refrain from altering or manipulating copyright notices and other identifying data related to the intellectual or industrial property rights of La Rinconada Town Hall or the owners of the content included on the portal. This includes technical protection measures, fingerprints, or any other content protection mechanisms.
