Project: "Data for Decarbonisation (D4DECAR) Supporting the Energy Transition in Las Rozas and La Rinconada SCALABLE CITIES

Las Rozas and La Rinconada have identified a common objective: the urgent need to establish data platforms and processes to enhance the impact of their energy projects, reduce energy consumption, and stimulate investments. They have joined forces to accelerate their capacity-building process and make more efficient use of resources.

The city is part of an initiative called "Toda Sevilla" (Seville Network), which includes 55 municipalities, companies, and associations committed to local energy generation and trading. It will develop data visualisation and validation techniques, and an open data portal, promoting collaboration to drive data-driven decisions and the decarbonisation of La Rinconada. The outcomes will include data infrastructure planning, market analysis, and a roadmap.
