La Rinconada approves the Action Plan of the Urban Agenda La Rinconada 2030, in Plenary on 9 September 2022 and drafted with the methodology designed by the Spanish Urban Agenda, as established by Order TMA/957/2021 and within the general framework of the rest of the international Agendas. The fundamental objective of this plan is to promote sustainable urban development that is environmentally responsible, socially cohesive and economically competitive.

The implementation of this Strategy is essential to facilitate a green, digital and socially inclusive transition, covering various areas and maintaining a holistic and inclusive approach. The integrated planning that has been carried out not only responds to local needs, but is also framed by a series of strategic objectives that seek to improve the quality of life of all its citizens.

This effort is developed in parallel with other initiatives of the municipality, ensuring coherence with all areas of government and public policy. It also aligns with international commitments, such as the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the United Nations New Urban Agenda and the Urban Agenda for the European Union, reaffirming La Rinconada's commitment to a sustainable and prosperous future.
